For visiting boats
The WSKLuM marina, the Belgian Air Force sailing club, lies in Nieuwpoort at the IJzer mouth, beside the mudflat and saltmarsh nature reserve where seals often haul out on the bank. After entering the harbour channel take the first bend to port: the visitors’ pontoon A is right there. Call ahead on VHF 72 (Air Force YC) or book online. The marina has about 400 berths on lit pontoons and holds five Gold Anchors. There are showers, washer and dryer, a clubhouse with bar and restaurant, a Wise boat hoist up to 25 t (max. 4.5 m beam, 2.4 m draught) and a recognised boating school and practical test centre.
