For visiting boats
Westhoek Marina lies in Nieuwpoort along the Nieuwpoort–Plassendale canal, in green surroundings within walking and cycling distance of the historic centre and the fish quay; you reach it from the sea via the IJzer mouth or along the canal. Pontoons and finger piers are wide and stable and there is no joining fee. Power (16 and 32 A), water, showers and the black-water pump-out work with the marina payment card; toilets are free to use and there are washing machines, dryers, free wifi in the harbour building and a calibrated diesel station. There is also a slipway, summer and winter storage and the Havenzicht eatery with a terrace.
