Overview
Kaløvig Bådelaug was founded at Løgten Kro on 27 October 1966 and from 1968 built Kaløvig Bådehavn with its members' own hands on the west side of Kalø Vig north of Aarhus. The club has a sailing school, a youth section, a J/70 fleet and a women's racing group, and its racing committee runs club races and two well-known open distance races: 3 Broer through Aarhus Bay, Kalø Vig, Knebel Vig and Egens Vig, and 2 Øer – a midsummer night race of about 61 nm round Hjelm and Tunø. Both are open to all, including boats without a rating.
