For visiting boats

Tróia Marina sits on Ponta do Adoxe on the Tróia peninsula at the mouth of the Sado estuary, facing Setúbal, in a bay known for its resident bottlenose dolphins. It has room for 180 boats. From seaward, from buoy no. 2 follow the bar leading line (040°) for about 3 miles to Forte do Outão; at night use the leading line of the Doca and Azeda lights. After buoy no. 5 carry on half a mile along the line, then turn to starboard keeping clear of the shore; the marina is marked by two small beacons and the reception and fuel pontoon is to starboard of the entrance. VHF 9. Around the dolphins, keep at least 30 m off and no more than three boats within 100 m.
