For visiting boats
Marina de Lagos opened in 1994 in the Bensafrim river estuary, right opposite Lagos old town, and has 474 pontoon berths for boats up to 30 m LOA, 10 m beam and 2.7 m draught, with water and 16/32/64 A power. Inside the entrance, to starboard before the lifting footbridge, an 80 m reception pontoon is where you check in; the bridge opens on request on VHF 09 (call 'Marina de Lagos') during reception hours, with priority for pedestrians in the 10 minutes before each train leaves. There is a fuel berth (diesel and 95 petrol), a free pump-out, showers, laundry and wifi, and the Sopromar boatyard is in the fishing harbour next door. The marina is run by Marlagos, S.A.

- 80 m reception pontoon to starboard before the bridge; check in at reception with registration, insurance and crew documents. To leave at night, pay and check out the evening before and move to the waiting pontoon. The fee runs per 24 h from 12:00; bookings confirmed with a 25 % deposit.
