For visiting boats
Åsgårdstrand gjestehavn lies in the southern harbour behind the east breakwater of the small, white-painted artists' town of Åsgårdstrand, run by Horten Havnevesen. By the bathing park next to the harbour there is a kiosk and a service building with showers and toilets (closed in winter), and the harbour has a seasonal holding-tank pump-out and a marina selling diesel and petrol. Munch's house is a short walk along the water, and the coastal path runs from here to Horten past the Borre burial mounds.
