Overview
Åsgårdstrand Seilforening was founded in 1935 and has about 250 members, with its clubhouse, sailing centre and harbour in the northern harbour of the white artists' town of Åsgårdstrand on the Oslofjord – a stone's throw from Munch's house. The club runs courses and training for dinghy sailors, organises racing for dinghies, keelboats and offshore boats, including the Vestfold Cup and the district championship, and has an active cruising group with its own race series. Visitors can lie alongside on the drop-in berths inside the north breakwater or on vacant members' berths set green in Mooringo, and the club has its own service building and bathing area.
