For visiting boats
Marina Stavoren (inner harbour) lies inside the Stavoren locks, between the IJsselmeer and the Frisian lakes, within walking distance of the old Hanseatic town. Since the second lock opened you rarely wait long to lock through, so Enkhuizen, Medemblik or the Wadden islands are as close as Heeg, Woudsend or Sneek. Every berth has power and every pontoon a water point; for visitors power, water, toilets/showers, wifi and the indoor pool are included. There is a fuel station by the harbour office, a chandlery with grocery, launderette, yacht service and winter storage in insulated or heated sheds.
