For visiting boats
Marina Stavoren Buitenhaven lies right on the IJsselmeer just south of Stavoren, outside the locks: the harbour for sailors who want open water straight away. It is spacious, with 3.80 m of water and boxes for boats of 8 to 25 m, all with finger pontoons, side lines and 16 A shore power. Lock through the Johan Friso lock and you are on the Frisian lakes; the Wadden islands, Enkhuizen and Medemblik are a day sail away. For visitors power, water, toilets/showers and wifi are included, as is the pool at the sister harbour.
