Liepaja Marina is the town yacht harbour on the City (Trade) Canal beside the Promenade Hotel building, right in the centre of Liepāja – shops, restaurants and the tourist information centre are a 5–10 minute walk. It is run by the Liepāja Special Economic Zone Authority and offers berths, water, electricity, security, waste disposal, showers, toilets, laundry and round-the-clock agent services. The marina has held the Blue Flag since 2008. The speed limit for small craft in the canal is 5 knots, and boats with a VHF are asked to keep watch on channel 11 in the port.
