Overview
The Latvian Olympic Sailing School (LOBS) is a foundation with bases in Karosta, Liepāja, and in Jaunciems, Riga. It teaches windsurfing to children and juniors aged 8–16 and dinghy sailing in Picos to children aged 6–12, as well as adults; the season runs June to September, with sessions between 10:00 and 17:00. In Karosta, on the beach by the North Breakwater, LOBS runs the final round of the Baltic Cup and the Latvian Windsurfing Championship, and on Lake Liepāja the Latvian SUP Championship. It also rents Pico dinghies and windsurf boards.
