For visiting boats
Marina Cala Galera is the big marina on the south-west coast of Monte Argentario near Porto Ercole, sheltered by the promontory and enterable in any weather – the breakwater even shuts out the scirocco. It has 670 berths from 6 to 50 m, about sixty of them for visitors, 3.5–6 m alongside and moorings on ground chains with lazy lines. The control tower at the entrance allocates berths on VHF 9 day and night; on the quay there is petrol and diesel, water, power and wifi, and the yard has two travel lifts up to 80 t and a slipway up to 300 t. Official visitor rates go by size category and period.
