For visiting boats
Port Hamble Marina lies on the west bank of the Hamble right beside Hamble village, a few minutes' walk from its pubs and restaurants and next door to the Royal Southern Yacht Club. One of the first marinas in the country when it opened in 1964, it has 310 berths for boats up to 24 m, a fuel berth selling diesel and petrol, a chandlery and a laundry, with lifting and storage ashore at sister Hamble Point. It is busy with racing yachts all season.
