For visiting boats
Hamble Point Marina sits right at the mouth of the River Hamble on the west bank, the first marina in from Southampton Water and the closest to the Solent racing grounds – which makes it a favourite base for racing crews and dry sailors. It has 230 pontoon berths for boats up to 30 m, a 137-berth dry stack for motorboats, a 75-ton hoist and 4-ton mast crane, storage ashore for over 650 boats and a marine service centre with more than 50 businesses, from sailmakers to an RYA sailing school. Fuel is at Port Hamble a short way upriver.
