For visiting boats
Le Havre marina, at the mouth of the Seine estuary, lies along Boulevard Clemenceau a few minutes' walk from the UNESCO-listed centre and the beach. Open all year at any state of tide, the deep-water main harbour has nearly 1,100 berths for boats of 5 to 19 m, plus the inner Vauban basin (170 berths), about 1,270 berths in all. Visitors berth on pontoons P and O right at the entrance after a call on VHF 9. Smart bollards for water and power, the Escaut technical area with a 28-tonne lift, hard standing and winter storage; direct trains to Paris.
