For visiting boats
Built in deep water in the 1960s and dredged regularly, Arcachon is the only marina in the Bassin you can enter around the clock all year, whatever the tide or weather. Its 2,600 berths on 40 pontoons are split between the Petit Port (quai Patrimoine) and the Grand Port (quai Goslar), with 605 swinging moorings and a dry stack for 110 motorboats. A floating fuel station in the entrance channel (diesel, SP98, SP95) is open day and night by card, every pontoon has water and power, and there are 45 t and 180 t hoists. The harbour office, open 363 days a year, listens on VHF channel 9; the Maison de la Mer next door houses the Yacht Club d'Arcachon and the fishing associations.
