For visiting boats
Sønderborg Lystbådehavn lies at Østerhage about 0.5 nm south-east of the southern entrance to Sønderborg harbour, by the beach promenade, and is owned by the cooperative Sønderborg Lystbådehavn A.m.b.a. It is home to Sønderborg Yacht-Club and Sønderborg Sejl- og Motorbådsklub. Visitors pay by berth width (every 5th consecutive night is free), and the fee covers showers; there is a café, kitchen, barbecue areas, bike hire, a fuel station, holding-tank pump-out, a slipway and 5 t and 7.5 t boat cranes. The season runs from 1 April to 15 November.
