For visiting boats
Skovshoved Havn on Strandvejen north of Copenhagen is owned by Gentofte Kommune and reopened in its present form in 2016, with three basins, a bathing area and fishing spots on the moles. It is home to Skovshoved Sejlklub, KDY's DS-37 match-racing centre, and rowing, kayak and water-ski clubs. Visitors may take any free berth with a green sign that fits the boat and pay electronically via QR code; the door code for the showers and toilets in 'Sandslottet' comes by SMS. There is a 20-tonne travel lift, an electric boat crane and a mast crane, an environmental station and marine diesel, and the harbour takes boats up to about 30 m and 4.5 m beam.

- Green sign = free until 11:00 the next day. Harbour dues apply for visits over 2 hours after 14:00. Payment is electronic only (QR codes at the moles and harbour office). Smaller boats please use smaller berths. Speed limit 3 knots.
