Rudkøbing Havn lies on the west side of Langeland facing the South Funen Archipelago, owned by Langeland Kommune, with the cobbled streets and hollyhocks of the old market town right by the harbour. The channel from the north carries 5.0 m over at least 30 m width, while the marina has 1.0–2.5 m and takes boats up to 15 m long and 4 m beam; the southern channel can lose depth through sand drift. Harbour dues cover power, water, showers and bike hire, and there are boatbuilders, slips up to 100 tonnes, a 32-tonne mobile crane and the ferry to Strynø. The harbour faces west, with fine sunsets over the archipelago.
