Horsens Marina lies at the head of Horsens Fjord, about seven nautical miles inside the line from Gylling Næs to Snaptun, and with 635 berths is one of the largest marinas in Denmark. It is owned by Horsens municipality and has kept the red timber sheds of the old fishing quarter. There is no separate visitors' area: visitors motor round and take any free berth with a green sign, up to 14 x 4 m on the north side, 16 x 5 m at Filosofbroen and 18 x 6 m at Beringsbroen at the western end. To lie in the middle of town, carry on into the old commercial harbour, where the marina has 20 large guest berths along the quay. There is a diesel pump at the service quay, a 10-tonne harbour crane, a mast crane and a slipway; for petrol, go to Hou or Juelsminde. The marina holds A-harbour status, is certified as a FLID Safe Harbour and belongs to the East Jutland Archipelago network.
