For visiting boats

The marina of the Baltic resort of Grömitz on Lübeck Bay was built in 1967–69 and enlarged in 1990–92 with a new mole and two more pontoons. Some 780 boats lie on 12 fixed jetties; guest berths are signed in green, and the dredged depth is up to 2.50 m – deeper keels only after checking with the harbour office. Electricity and water are included in the guest fee, and there are showers, toilets, washer and dryer, a holding-tank pump-out, a 24/7 self-service fuel berth, a gantry crane up to 16 t and a slipway. A DGzRS lifeboat is stationed in the harbour, which has held the Blue Flag since 2001.
