For visiting boats
ancora Marina lies just outside Neustadt in Holstein on Lübeck Bay, next to a NABU nature reserve and a shallow bathing beach. With 1,400 berths for boats from 6 to 35 m, all with electricity and water, it is one of the largest marinas on the German Baltic coast. Facilities include two travel lifts (50 and 75 t), a 45 t mobile crane, three mast cranes, a slipway, about 41,000 m² of indoor and outdoor winter storage, a yard that also works on Sundays and holidays, a chandlery and the fuel berth with diesel and petrol at the entrance to the north harbour. The marina was founded in 1971; today there are restaurants, a hotel and holiday flats on site.
