For visiting boats
Strande's municipal harbour is the first marina on the west shore of the outer Kiel Fjord coming in from sea, right next to Schilksee Olympic Harbour. The fishing harbour opened in 1939 has become a yacht harbour with seven pontoons and 350 berths; free boxes are marked by a green tab, and the boxes are 10–12 m long with 2.6–4.0 m of water. At the head of pontoon 6 is the fuel berth with diesel and petrol, plus a crane, mast crane, slipway and the Kiel Yacht Club's yard. The head of the east mole can be approached at any time; at night keep in the white sector of the Strander Bucht light.

- Free guest boxes are marked with a green tab on the pontoon. The east mole is used by passenger ships and ferries. Pay the harbour master; stays beyond 60 days in the season incur no further fee.
