Bornholm: boating safety
Last verified:
Bornholm is a Danish island in the middle of the Baltic, a classic stop on passages between Denmark, Sweden, Germany and Poland. Rønne is the main ferry and commercial port; small harbours such as Gudhjem, Allinge and Hammerhavn and the Ertholmene/Christiansø islands draw visiting yachts in summer. The surrounding waters are open sea with busy shipping routes.
