Overview
The AZS Poznań Sailing Section is one of the oldest sailing clubs in Greater Poland, with its own harbour on Lake Kiekrz (Kierskie). It trains racers in single-handed dinghy classes and windsurfing, and its members include Olympians, Polish champions and ocean-going skippers. The club has about 200 members; its year-round clubhouse has guest rooms, showers, a kitchen, club rooms, three boat sheds, a boatyard and sail loft, and yacht-sailor and motorboat licence courses are taught at the harbour.
