Overview
Zagreb Rowing Club was founded in 1930 as VK "Uskok" and has carried the city's name since 1956; its boathouse on the Sava bank still stands where it was first built. Today it trains on the Jarun regatta course, runs a sprint regatta and a rowing school for children aged 10 to 13. Its rowers have raced at world championships and the Olympic and Mediterranean Games, and won Croatia's first gold medal at the Nations Cup in Ioannina.
