Overview

Trešnjevka Rowing Club in Zagreb began in 1923 as the "Gusar" rowing club; it changed its name several times and has carried its present name since 1960. Its first boathouse opened in July 1923, and in 2013 the club marked 90 years of continuous rowing. In recent seasons its crews have been runners-up at the Croatian rowing championship, and a club rower was in the quad that won Olympic silver at London 2012. The club runs a rowing school for children aged 10 to 14.
