Overview
The Société Nautique de la Basse Seine is a rowing club at Courbevoie on the Seine, whose statutes were filed on 13 October 1882 by twenty-eight founding members. For decades it ran a big annual regatta day, the Founders' Day, and since 1934 it has rowed a traditional match against a neighbouring club, interrupted only once, in 1940. The club offers recreational, masters, open, university and junior rowing, AviFit, fitness training and a rowing tank, taster sessions and summer courses, and trains its rowers for the rowing proficiency badges.
