Overview
Affiliated to the French rowing federation, Rowing Club Cannes Mandelieu rows all year on the Siagne canal from the Patrice Auger base, with the sea 500 m away for coastal rowing. Nearly a thousand people a season — members, course participants, school groups — use a fleet of over 70 boats from single sculls to eights, coached by three qualified staff. Recreational rowing for young people and adults, racing crews regularly at the French championships, holiday courses, AviFit indoor rowing, rowing for blind and visually impaired people and health sessions; an Olympic champion learned to row here.
