Overview
La Rochelle Nautique was formed in September 2021 by merging La Rochelle's two big sailing houses: the century-old Société des Régates Rochelaises and the École de Voile Rochelaise. The club sits in the new sailing centre of the Pôle des Minimes, on the edge of Les Minimes marina and La Rochelle Bay. Members sail all year in Optimists, catamarans, windsurfers, wing foils, sportboats and keelboats, from leisure to racing. The club runs the Tour de Ré, the Transgascogne La Rochelle–Gijón, the Gascogne 45/5 that opens the offshore season, J/80 and 29er nationals and the Christmas Cup.
