Overview
Mariehamns Seglarförening (MSF) was founded in 1917 and is based in Mariehamn's East Harbour, where its clubroom, junior house and Åland's largest guest harbour share one harbour building. Juniors sail Optimists and ILCAs from the dinghy pontoon, usually on the Slemmern bay, and members also have windsurf boards. The club has two club islands: Seglarnästet in Kalmarviken, its base since the 1940s, and the outport Möholm in the southern Föglö archipelago.
