Overview
The Yacht-Club Mörbisch grew out of the former Segelclub Mörbisch, was founded in 1969 and joined the Austrian sailing federation and the ASVÖ Burgenland in the same year. It sails in the south-west of Lake Neusiedl and is a stronghold of the Jollenkreuzer (inland cruising dinghies): in its 2026 Mörbisch sailing week it hosted the Austrian championships of the 16 m² and 20 m² Jollenkreuzer and the European Cups of all three classes. It also runs youth weeks, international youth events such as the 2022 Zoom8 European Championship, and club races.
