İzmir Marina is at Balçova on the south shore of the Gulf of İzmir; İzmir Metropolitan Municipality leased it from the Turkish Armed Forces Foundation in 2020, refurbished and reopened it, with İzdeniz A.Ş. as operator. It has 71 berths afloat with up to 5 m of water, plus hard standing, lift-out and hull-washing services. The marina's water-sports training centre teaches Optimist and dinghy sailing, rowing, canoeing, diving and swimming. Fuel is delivered by tanker on advance notice.
