Ellös on the west side of Orust is the island's largest industrial village and home to one of Sweden's biggest leisure-boat yards. The guest harbour has about 30 berths in 2–4 m of water, a service building with washer and dryer, and a pump-out. The village has shops, a bank and restaurants, and a fuel berth is a couple of hundred metres away.
