For visiting boats
Åstol lies a mile north of Marstrand and has one of the best-sheltered harbours on the west coast, once home to some thirty fishing trawlers. The guest harbour takes up to about 75 boats: alongside the quay on the south side, and bow-to with a buoy or mooring line on the north side. Toilets, showers, wifi, washing machine and dryer are included in the fee with no code needed. The island has a smokehouse, a village shop and a café.

- South side: alongside – lie close to the boat to the west and avoid putting a small boat next to the quay in high season. North side: bow-to with buoy or mooring line; five innermost berths are kept for Dockspot. Free day berths at the ferry landing, the smokehouse basin and inside the slipway. October–March the toilets and showers are closed, and water is off November–April.
