For visiting boats

Doca de Alcântara (Alcântara Dock) is the most upstream of the APL's four leisure docks on the north bank of the Tagus, near the 25 de Abril bridge and the Alcântara cruise terminal. It is run by the Port of Lisbon authority (APL) and holds 420 boats, with berths up to 20 m LOA. The reception answers on VHF 9 every day 09–13 and 14–18 h; there is water and electricity on the pontoons, showers, waste and oil collection and no fuel berth of its own (fuel on the quay at Belém and Bom Sucesso docks). The Tagus runs strong tidal streams: allow for them at the entrance and when berthing.
