For visiting boats
The yacht harbour inside the fishing port at the very tip of the Hel Peninsula, protected by breakwaters, is the natural stop at the entrance to the Gulf of Gdańsk. Boats up to 11 m lie on floating pontoons, larger yachts alongside the quay in the yacht basin; there are 52 visitor berths with 4–4.5 m of water. Enter and leave under engine at no more than 5 knots and with permission from the harbour office on channel 10, which is manned around the clock. Strong southerly winds send a swell into the basin; the port has a crane for boats up to 5 t.
