For visiting boats
Auckland Central Marina is the inner-city marina in the Viaduct Harbour, right among the restaurants and hotels of Auckland's waterfront and the base for events from the America's Cup to the boat show. Run by Auckland Council, it takes superyachts and smaller boats up to 55 m for short and long stays, with power, water and a black-water pump-out hose on each dock, and is the Auckland marina for customs clearance of boats over 24 m. The office monitors VHF 73 around the clock. There is no fuel berth in the Viaduct: bunkering is by arrangement on weekdays, and the full fuel dock is close by at Westhaven (2.4 m minimum depth).

- short and long stays on enquiry; foreign vessels need registry certificate, NZ$10M liability insurance and a Temporary Import Exemption; shore cables certified by an NZ electrician on first connection (fee); quarantine berth for customs/MPI clearance; bunkering only on weekdays with 24 h notice
