For visiting boats

Mandal guest harbour lies right in the centre of Mandal, Norway's southernmost town, at the mouth of the Mandalselva, and was voted Guest Harbour of the Year 2026 by the readers of Seilmagasinet and Båtmagasinet. It is run by Lindesnes Havn KF. There is little current in the outer harbour, but in the river it can run at several knots, so allow a good margin when berthing. The Adolph Tidemand bridge between Bryggegata and the Buen culture centre has about 4 m air draught; the bascule span can be opened for a fee by arrangement with the harbour office. A harbour card from the machine opens the service building all year, with eight showers, washing machines and dryers, and power is bought per night. Smaller boats can get diesel at the river mouth, and there is a holding-tank pump-out. Sjøsanden, the 800-metre sandy beach, is a short walk away.
