For visiting boats
Kragerø has two guest harbours in the town centre, owned and run by Kragerø Havnevesen, in the middle of the white south-coast town on the west side of Bærøyfjorden and the gateway to the Kragerø skerries. The guest harbours have a service building with showers, washing machines and dryers, accessible toilets and a kiosk, and on the islet there is a seawater pool, a sandy beach and a wheelchair-accessible bathing platform. The nightly fee in the main season (15 March–1 November) includes charging power; in the shoulder season there is a 50 % discount but no access to the service building. Westerly winds raise the water level in the fjord, easterlies push it out.
- Guest berths
- Shoulder season: 50 % off the nightly fee incl. charging power, but without the service building (not on Jomfruland). Harbour watch limited at weekends in the shoulder season. Highest recorded storm surge: 142 cm above mean sea level.
