For visiting boats
Grimstad gjestehavn lies right in Grimstad town centre at the head of the harbour, with the Dampskipsbrygga steamer quay and the service building close by. The harbour is owned and run by Grimstad kommune and is open to visitors in June, July and August; in high season harbour hosts meet boats on the quay and show them a berth. The guest harbour is divided into fire zones with four metres between boats and no more than two abreast, and depths are 2–10 m. Power and water are included in the nightly fee, and there are showers, toilets, laundry, an environmental station and holding-tank pump-out at the Terje Vigen pontoon.
