For visiting boats
The small-boat pontoon in Brosundet is the Ålesund port authority's guest harbour in the inner harbour, in the middle of the Art Nouveau town of Ålesund, a short walk from the tourist office, shops, the Bybadet pool, museums and restaurants. There are 50 guest berths in a sheltered harbour with up to 5 m depth, open in winter too; power, fresh water and free wifi are included in the nightly fee, and the sanitary block at Lorkenestorget has toilets, showers and a washing machine (code on the GoMarina receipt). Maximum stay is 14 nights. When cruise ships lie at Stornespiren and Prestebrygga, passage through Brosundet from the south and the lifting bridge are closed – check with the harbour watch.
