For visiting boats
Marina Seaport IJmuiden has lain on the extended south pier of IJmuiden since 1994, right on the sea and outside the locks, between the beach, the Kennemer dunes and the village. With over 650 berths there is always room; visitors up to 18 m need not book. Call the marina on VHF 74 as you approach: up to 12 m go to pontoon M, larger boats to pontoons I/J, G/H or F, on a berth with a green sign. Every berth has water and 16 A shore power, with 32 A/380 V for large yachts. There is a boat lift up to 25 t, a mast crane, winter storage outside and in a heated shed, a launderette and a slipway. Amsterdam is 16 miles away through the small lock (VHF 22).
