For visiting boats
The marina of Antwerp's Royal Yacht Club de Belgique lies at Wolphaartsdijk on the Veerse Meer and was built in the early 1960s, soon after the Veerse Gat was closed off. About 100 members' motor and sailing yachts are based here, and visitors, members and non-members alike, are welcome. The Veerse Meer is sheltered, non-tidal water, with Veere, the islets and the Oosterschelde (through the Zandkreek lock) close by. There is wifi, toilets and showers, drinking water, shore power and waste containers; engine repairs, a sailmaker, a chandlery and restaurants are within walking distance.
