For visiting boats
Marina Volendam lies right on the Markermeer, next to the centre and the famous dyke of Volendam and not far from Amsterdam. The young marina (opened in 2007) has more than 500 roomy boxes with finger pontoon, their own power and water connection and lines, and a harbour office in the middle of the basin built like the old fish auction. There are clean toilets and showers, a launderette, wifi, a bilge and black-water pump-out, a diesel station, a bread service and lots for children, including summer animation and youth sailing in Optimists. Yacht service, winter storage, sailmaking and rigging are with Waterland Yacht on site. Visitors can book online or by phone.
