For visiting boats

The Grashaven is Hoorn’s largest marina, with over 700 berths for residents and visitors, sheltered yet with a direct entrance from the Markermeer and within walking distance of the old town. It is not a club harbour but is run by the Stichting Jachthaven Hoorn foundation. Visitors pay per metre of boat length, power included. There is a mini-market with terrace, toilets and showers, a launderette, a boat and engine repair yard and a crane for small jobs; in winter some 300 boats are stored ashore on the site.
