For visiting boats
Ventspils Marina is the yacht harbour on the south (port-hand) bank of the Venta inside the fishing harbour, about 2 km from the town centre and 200 m from the Blue Flag beach. In summer it has 50 berths for yachts and motorboats along a 110 m quay with 3.5 m depth alongside and takes boats up to 30 m LOA. There is a 35-tonne mobile boat hoist, a guarded hard-standing for winter storage, a sauna, laundry and a café, and guest apartments in the service building. The river current at the entrance can reach 2 knots.
