For visiting boats
The Port of Nida is an international inland port on the lagoon side of the Curonian Spit, in the oldest part of Nida. It began as a fishing harbour in the late 19th century; the passenger pier was built in 1975–76, the second breakwater in 1991, and in 1999 it became an international port with border control. It takes 40–60 yachts at a time; the passenger basin carries 3 m, the fishing basin 2.8–3 m in the centre and down to 1 m by the north mole. The entrance from the lagoon is on 256°, there is a fuel station on the water and a slipway (2023); the port hosted the 2021 Platu 25 World Championship.
