For visiting boats
Kaunas Winter Port on the right bank of the Nemunas in Kaunas is the Inland Waterways Authority's base, with a 317 m quay, a boat repair yard and a slipway; it was built in 1974, though planned as early as the interwar years. A pleasure-boat berth operates in the port with weekly, monthly and yearly rates.
