For visiting boats

Marina Dorica is Ancona's big marina at the start of the Riviera del Conero, about 67 miles from the Croatian coast. It has 1,320 berths afloat, most with fingers on floating pontoons, for boats up to 28 m, plus 256 dry berths; depth is 2.5–3.2 m in the main basin and over 5 m in the east basin. There is a 75 t travel lift, a fixed 6 t crane, slipways, a fuel station open all year, wifi, toilets and showers on three sides of the harbour, restaurants and a mini-market. Visitor rates, including VAT, water and power, are published per metre of length; the marina works on VHF 8.

The entrance faces WNW: call the marina on VHF 8 at the entrance. Coming from the NE the harbour lights appear reversed – leave the red light 100 m to port. At low water there may be less than 3 m at the entrance.
